The Supply Chain version of IBM Watson is an open environment designed to connect to a wide variety of suppliers across the supply chain.
Capabilities - 4/4
IBM is a global company, and their Watson product is highly customizable to the needs of the business. One of the things they advertise is that for the demonstration of their product they will come in and use your data to show you how their supply chain product works. As shown in a video below, IBM and Maersk have been creating a partnership to track international shipments end to end. The customizability and global influence are big reasons why their software's capabilities are rated 4 out of 4.

User Friendly - 3/4
Looking at IBM Watson's dashboard and other reviews, it appears to be user friendly but that is hard to say without using the system ourselves, and that was not possible in this project. That is the reason the user friendly category gets a 3/4, because it is hard to know.
Ease of Implementation - 3/4
When asked about this IBM could not provide a specific answer. They said, "I believe that would depend on the size and scope of your engagement, so I would have to have more information from the company itself to give you an accurate answer. It would also depend on the solutions that the company chose to implement." They receive a 3/4 only because there was no specific answer given.

IBM is a global company with approximately 366,000 employees worldwide. They are near the top of the list of United States companies with largest profit margins outside the United States.
Customer Service - 4/4
IBM, from our experience, has great customer service, when we reached out to them to discuss their product. They were very responsive, and even went above and beyond, providing additional information to help us make an informed recommendation.
